hi hi hi, long time amd things. the above photo was taken because i was interviewed for a magazine and they needed a promo photograph of me. that magazine article didn't happen, but the photo exists. it was decided that sunglasses were needed because my eyes are so tired. i'm sat on a bench in the york minster gardens, and it looks like i have a centre parting but i don't...

i am also back in a secret location in east yorkshire recording another solo album. it's the follow up to 'caught under a spell' and is a similar kind of thing. have recorded about four songs so far.

also, i had chance to unearth some old tapes and videos of one of my first bands called the pills. i played bass in the band with my schoolfriends - danny (singing and guitars) and paul (drums). we were based in york and played a few local shows like at the spotted cow (video performance here), and did a few studio recordings. here is a bandcamp page of all of our recordings - both studio and practice room. i'll excavate more things and put them into the digital landfill...

apart from that, i've also started a new band called strange pink with a couple of friends (dom and eddie) from hull. we've played a few shows in hull and recorded an ep that will hopefully be out in summer. i play guitar and sing, and here is a strange pink website with videos and bits on it. 

oh and my other band, sewage farm, released an album called 'no reason' last november. here is a bandcamp page with it on. we recorded it in hull at fairview studios which is a great place, and apparently def leppard recorded there...

nearly forgot... got a rare solo acoustic gig on saturday 8 march at bridlington queens hotel. it's supporting a friend's band called the last bastions of bohemia. i have no idea what to play...
